A Sweet Summer Wedding

The setting is for an intimate wedding reception on a balmy summer's evening in a glorious country garden.

The bride is an Aussie lass who found her perfect match in the UK.

The ceremony was performed on the tennis court and the rustic arbour was put together by the bride's stepdad.

The theme for the wedding was bees and honey, as the mother and stepdad of the bride run a business that manufactures beehives https://whirrakeewoodware.com.au/

Florist,  Brett Currell used roses and natives in soft golds and greens

The flatware was gold tied with green twine and leaf ribbon.

Every guest received a pot of honey labelled with bride and groom's name and wedding date and inscribed "meant to bee".

The wedding had so many heartfelt and traditional touches. It was lovely to host both sides of the family at our home.

The next morning all the guests reassembled for a hearty wedding breakfast.
